Soldiers vanished terrorists commander Babaru and others in Niger, Kaduna and Katsina states

The Military during the weekend intensified its offensive against terrorists and bandits in several theatres of many operations with several precision airstrikes by the Siper Tucano jets and other platforms taking out scores on the terrorists and destroying the Somalia medical camp of ISWAP in Sambisa Forest among the rest.

This is despite the challenges of the weather, as occasioned by rainstorms and low clouds, has continued to pose to the Nigerian military’s air and ground operations across all the joint operating places.

Sources said the operations occurred as troops and airmen of the Land and Air Component synergize and coordinate their efforts against terrorists and their activities with devastating impact.

“In the Northeast, Nigerian Air Force (NAF) aircraft under the Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai, while acting on credible intelligence struck a target at Somalia in Sambisa Forest suspected to be a terrorist hospital and health care facility on 9 September 2022.

“Somalia, a location near Sambida Forest, was believed to be where the terrorists have a medical facility where wounded fighters as well as those critically ill were. After the air strikes, several structures were observed destroyed and numerous terrorists neutralized.
